Apple is plotting a “major new product” announcement at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on January 27, not January 26,  reports John Paczkowski of All Things Digital citing “sources in position to know.”

Phew! That gives the world one more day to pontificate on how the tablet will save old media, how much it will cost, how many Apple will sell, who wants it, and plenty of other issues.
