Starting with the HP Slate that was presented at CES and is one of HP’s most anticipated releases for the title of iPad competitor, the list of competitors is at the very beginning. This tablet will use Windows 7 as operating system.

The second tablet that is considered a worthy opponent of ht iPad is the Dell Streak, featuring a smaller screen but more processing power and a clever Graphical User Interface. The operating system of the device has not been declared yet.

The Asus Eee Tablet is a 9 inch tablet with four buttons and the operating system is considered to be Google manufactured.

Another tablet in the ring is the Compal Tablet, one of Nvidia’s 3 Tegra 250 featured tablets presented at CES 2010 with cool looking design and the dual core ARM Cortex A9 CPUs at the heart of the device.

Notion Ink Adamis an upcoming tablet that is supposed to be a harsh opponent of Apple supremacy. Using the same tech configuration for Compal Tablets, the NVIDIA Tegra 250 with Dual Core Cortex A-9s, the Adam packs a powerful punch that could destabilize the Apple market monopole.

These and many more upcoming tablets offer great reliability given the fact that they are produced by large electronic manufacturers that stood the test of time on a harsh market. The simple fact that HP, Dell or Nvidia decided that they should invest in this market trend means that they mean business and provide sustained effort in making their products as good as they can be.

With each tablet that is to be launched Apple marketing system needs constant reorientation because a successful marketing strategy cannot possibly rely on devoted customers. The customer community is not blind to obvious advantages offered by other manufacturers since it’s a free market and every producer can try and set a record with a new product made to serve the needs of the market.
