IPAD – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

A week ago, Steve Jobs unveiled the world, in his opening address specific stuffed with superlatives, the "magic", "extraordinary" and talked a lot about … the iPad. Although at first sight, the audience seemed to believe Jobs when he said the iPad is "the best surfing experience" after the World Wide Web was suppressed by many Pros and (especially) the opinions Cons. For those of us who had high expectations, disappointment was directly proportional to the others who did not know what to expect the iPad is a daring product with too great a price, and for some, Apple's latest product represents the next generation gadgets.

At this point, the average user has a difficult time choosing what to believe, and as in most cases, the truth lies in the center. So here's the good, the bad and the ugly on the iPad:

The Good

Apple iPad comes with a 9.7 inch LED screen multitouch, which benefits from a fingerprint resistant coating Oleophobic. So no more smudgy fingerprints clean!

The 1024×768 resolution, along with ambient light sensor and a new iBook book application that comes with a search function, the display settings, makes the animation page and a library function, make the iPad one tough competitor in the market for e-readers.

In terms of connectivity, has Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models feature: Wi-Fi 802.11b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3G, UMTS / HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and GSM / EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz). As for memory capacity, depending on the amount of money you want to invest, there are three models available: 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB flash disk, in a price range between $ 499 and $ 829.

The Bad

IPad In terms of what does not, in the "input and output section lacks a USB port and HDMI output, which does not offer or support Flash, or multitasking capabilities, and has no camera.

As for the characterization of the iPad, can be a challenge because it is not possible to hold the iPad in one hand and type with the other, the best solution is to place the tablet on a table or use the loading dock and keyboard, which can be purchased separately (of course). If you are thinking that the best solution here would be a pencil, think again, because the iPad does not allow the pen input and handwriting recognition.

The price is not that good, if the starting price of $ 499 you can buy a Kindle DX with a 9.7 inch screen and 3G connectivity, or better yet 2 Nook e-readers, for $ 829 you can buy a laptop really good.

The Ugly

The ugly part of the iPad, is the name of the course. The guys at Apple could not have been less than inspired when they chose that name. Really guys, Apple Tablet would have been very good. He could have, should have, has … but did not.
